Under primary coverage, it doesn't matter how many miles are on the vehicle or when the vehicle was first used.Toyota says secondary coverage will work as a supplement to the primary coverage for some owners by providing an extended warranty for 10 years from the date the vehicle was first used. I put my GPS over it, and then one day the whole thing peeled off so there was a missing circle about 3-5 inches wide. A week or two later, I received a letter in the mail about the warranty extension. This was last January.Fast forward to about a month ago, and they finally replaced it. The dashboard looks good, and I got a free car wash in the process. But if you sign up today, don't expect them to just replace it on the spot. It takes a long time for them to get in the part.
